Step 1: The procedure is explained in full, and a questionnaire completed. Our Teeth Whitening technician applies a protective barrier to your gums, which is 'set' using a gentle light.
Step 2: Whitening gel is carefully placed on each tooth within the smile line for 10 mins and a specialised Laser light is placed above the teeth which acts as a catalyst to speed up the process, the gel is removed and the process repeated 2 or 3 times depending on discolouration. Step 3: The gum barrier is removed. A shade guide is taken before and after the procedure to evaluate the level of whitening. 10 shades whiter are regularly achieved. The technician remains with the client at all times. Teeth continue to whiten over the following 24 hours. During this period highly coloured food/drink should be avoided. Every client receives a free home top-up maintenance kit containing a set of mouth trays + 1 spare, storage box, enough product for 10 full treatments and full instructions. The result is a whiter, more confident looking smile
How it works The whitening gel whitens the teeth by delivering oxygen into the dentine layer of the tooth. The oxygen breaks down the organic compounds trapped in the dentine into smaller lighter particles which reflect light better thereby lightening the colour of the teeth. The professional laser light accelerates the process without removing any of the tooth enamel. The whitening effect can last years, depending on your lifestyle. To keep your smile at it`s brightest a home teeth whitening top-up kit is supplied free of charge for maintenance.
